Since last Summer Snobs Coffee Shop has been resident in Gallery 1 in the Town Hall in Ipswich, where I live.
The space is still used as a gallery and is furnished with fabulous vintage furniture mainly supplied by the fabulous Jess Bradley of Betty Blue Hat, on twitter as @bettybluehat and you can also find her on Facebook.
It's such a wonderfully relaxed place to meet for food or drink, there are piles of interesting magazines and books and unique artwork on the walls. All this and you're supporting an independent business by visiting there instead of one of the big commercial coffee shops.
I popped in the other day and enjoyed a lovely cuppa and a Portuguese custard tart (Mmmmmmmm!!) I love their mismatched mugs and vintage crockery.
Make sure you visit if you're ever in Ipswich.

Another week gone already!!
Blimey! It's been a week since my last post. I didn't intend for that to happen. I've had rather a busy week, apart from yesterday when I was feeling poorly and didn't do very much at all.
Monday I went to visit my friend Laura and her little girl Alice. I love going to see them, watching Alice grow up and learn to talk is just wonderful. Tuesday I had an eventful one trying to fix the electric windows in my car. I won't go on about it because that's not very interesting is it? Anyway they work now, they shut as well as open haha! I've also sewn and printed and drawn up new badges and visited LoveOne.
This is quite cool, they are putting my bags in the window and so I was asked to write a little 'about me' I decided to embroider it which would have been fine, it didn't take very long, but my grammar went awry in the middle and it doesn't make sense! Take Two on that one!
Chris and I have also been busy trying to get the craft fair off the ground. It is really going quite well now. We are still needing stallholders so please do get in touch if you are interested. We have a website coming together. We've had quite a good response from interested sellers and have made a link with the local borough council which is brilliant. So watch this space!!
And the picture above is of Southwold. I have posted it because we are going on a little holiday to Southwold next weekend and I am very excited.

Things are looking up!!
And now onto today. After speaking to the people at Cavern 4 i found the confidence to go down to a wonderful shop called LoveOne on St Peters St in Ipswich. I actually already know the owner so it wasn't that scary but I think when you start selling your work and putting yourself out there you are opening yourself up to criticism or praise but it can make you feel quite vulnerable!
On the way there I got a call from college offering me 32 hours instead of 10.5 starting after Easter.
AND I can happily announce my tote bags and brooches and soon some bunting are all being stocked by LoveOne! Now I am excited!
The picture on the left is a print I did a while ago. I've been taking photos to put on MOO cards and that's one of my faves.
As I said. Things are looking up!!
